First impressions.

Tired and exhausted by all the adventures lately, our hero arrives at the base of Mount Kooza. His last efforts drag him over to the local tavern called “The Weary Traveller”.

When he enters a bald, bearded warden greets him with a toothless smile. “You must be starving.” he mumbles. I wondered if the empty glaze in my eyes or the growling bear in my stomach gave it away, but I could eat a horse right now.

“Here is the menu.” the warden says. Our explorer open it to be surprised by nothing but blank pages!!! Was this some kind of joke? he thought.

“Pick whatever you want young lad.” “But sir, nothing is there…” “Use your imagination and see the food, it’s right infant of you already. Don’t loose your inner child.”

I closed my eyes and thought of the happiest times of my life.

Beautiful templates in Pages help learners focus on the writing skills.

The Steps.

Here is my story:

Open Pages and select a new blank template.

Tap on the plus sign at the upper right hand corner.

Add text, images, shapes and drawings from the media section.

For my example I focussed on three meals.

Once your menu is ready tap on the three dots at the upper right hand corner.

Select export and share your result with some hungry eaters in either an ePub or PDF format.

Going Further.

That looks like a great selection of flavours. I bet you the other visitors can’t wait to try your menu out.

This is one of the activities that educators can participate in during The Playground at FETC and TCEA.

If you are inspired to try this yourself, have a look at the resources I used:
