Piece Of The Puzzle.

An Imagineer rushes by our traveller on a bike packed with brooms and cans of glue. Something must be going on he thinks. He picks up his step and is set to find out. Head down and nose on the trail of glue left behind, he arrives at the gates of the Fairytale Forest.

The man who a minute ago almost knocked him over is just about done putting up the big announcement. Our explorer tries to find a way through the curious crowd to get in front of this message.

When he arrives the title reads: “Fairytale Tree looking for Storytellers”. I definitely want to be part of that he says and that is how this story begins…

The Steps.

Here is my story:

Open Pages and start a blank new template.

Write down the text for the story.

Next tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner.

Select Presenter Mode to get the teleprompter started.

TIP:  Tap on the Aa symbol to adjust the setting for the teleprompter.

Open Clips and tap on the square icon in the upper left hand corner to start a new project.

Next tap on the speech bubble icon to choose a Live Title.

TIP: For this kind of activity I usually select titles down below.

Tap on the X on the right hand side.

Now tap and swipe up on the big red button to record your part of the story while the teleprompter in Pages is running on another screen.

TIP: Don’t worry if you make a mistake. We can always edit the text or worst case re-record the whole thing.

Once you are done recording, save your video.

Tap on the share button on the lower right hand corner.

Select Save Video.

Going Further.

Your contribution to the fairytale is done. Make sure to collect the link and view the full story when you return homebound.

This is one of the activities that educators can participate in during The Playground at FETC and TCEA.
