First impressions.

The Great Ogre Of Wonderland has spoken. The new colour is green.

With this news spreading through the land, the most curious things are happening. Anything covered in green seems to be disappearing. Is this some kind of magic trick?

Our hero packs his bag filled with art supplies to jump into this new adventure. He might have an idea what is going on.

Off he goes into the wilderness and towards the Green Wall.

With a green screen and the iMovie video tools at my fingertips, anything is possible.

The Steps.

Here is my story:

First create some characters for your story and setup a green screen stage.

Next, open Do Ink Green Screen and tap on the plus sign at the upper right hand corner.

Select Create a New Project.

In the project tap on the plus sign of the middle layer on your right.

Select the camera icon to start your live recording in front of the green screen.

Tap on the lowest layer and add a background image by tapping on the plus sign of this layer and then selecting the image icon.

Select an image from your Photo Library.

TIP: You can add additional objects on the top layer by tapping on the plus sign and selecting one of the other options.

When you are ready for your story, tap on the red recording button and start telling your story.

When you are done, look at the preview. If you are satisfied with this result, then tap on the share icon at the bottom right hand corner.

Scroll through the apps till you find the option Copy to iMovie. This will trigger the transfer of the footage and open iMovie in a new project.

In iMovie we can now edit the video, add titles, sounds, etc.

When you record several green screen videos and save them into your Photo Library, this is the place to put them all together and create one big story out of them.

In the menu, navigate to Video and then tap on the video you would like to add. Tap on the plus sign to add it to your timeline down below.

Tap on any video in your timeline to edit it or add titles.

Once you are ready to preview your masterwork, tap on the play button.

Going Further.

Your story is now added to the great book.

This is one of the activities that educators can participate in during The Playground at FETC and TCEA.
