Life Canvas.

A new ride is opening today in Wonderland and thousands of people are making their way through the golden gates to try it out. Satisfying their curiosity.

In the midst of the masses one person stands out. It’s our learner. Bright and shining, with a big smile on his face. Always up for an adventure he arrived early today to be one of the first in line to embark on this journey.

Once he arrives at the ride there is an enormous line of people who had the same idea. Luckily the park owner prepared for this and he designed some fun activities for the visitors to participate in while waiting. One of them is face painting. So get your Apple pencil out and fire up Keynote on your iPad.

Keynote has become an essential part of my creativity.

The Steps.

Here is my story:

Open Keynote and select a new blank template.

Tap on the plus sign on the upper right hand corner.

Go to the media section and select Camera.

Make sure the camera is facing towards you and take a selfie. Don’t for get to smile!

Next tap on the screen with your Apple pencil to reveal the drawing tools.

Start experimenting with colors on your selfie. Use your imagination.

TIP: If you need a bit of a start to draw something have a look at the shapes library. Put a shape on your face and then trace it. Delete the shape afterwards.

Once your artwork is done, share it with the world to promote the new ride in Wonderland.

Going Further.

Congratulations! You can now start working in Wonderland as the official makeup artist.

This is one of the activities that educators can participate in during The Playground at FETC and TCEA.
