Photo Booth.

When you visit the Casino of Learning, you see them everywhere: Photo booths.

The new features in the Camera create stunning portraits.

The Steps.

Here is my story:

To start your own polaroid strip you need to go out and take some selfies. I recommend trying the native camera on your iPad or iPhone. For this specific case I tried out the new portrait mode with stage light.

Next open Photos and find your image.

Tap on Edit at the upper right hand corner and play with filters, cropping and mark up features.

After editing the picture in Photos, you open up Keynote and add a rectangle shape. I want to recreate the Polaroid feeling, so add a black border to your rectangular shape.

Add the portrait image and insert a title underneath. My campaign is called “Learning Professionals”.

When you do this with a group of students / educators have them AirDrop the slide to your device as a final step.

TIP: Create your own filter by placing a shape over your image and changing the opacity.

Going Further.

Add animation or drawings to take your polaroid selfie to the next level.

This is one of the activities that educators can participate in during The Casino of Learning Playground.
