Christkindl Market.

This weekend I visited the Atlanta Christkindl Market to get into the holiday vibe. When I sat down in the coffee shop and started exploring the activities on their website, my eye caught the design of their logo. It is a snow globe made up of all different shapes.

Right in that moment I got that light bulb phenomena. The kind that raises my eyebrow. I’ve seen this kind of design somewhere else: the All About Me project from the Apple Teacher Learning Center.

The All About Me project from Apple can be transformed into anything your creativity can imagine.

The Steps.

Here is my story:

Open Keynote and start from a blank template.

Delete any of the text boxes.

Tap the plus sign on the top right and go to the shapes library.

Add a big circle to the middle of your slide.

Next you want to add some text to build the base of the globe. Make sure that the top part is smaller than the base. Play a little with the font size.

TIP: This is an ideal spot to put in a message for your loved ones.

Arrange the text in front of the circle by tapping on the paintbrush and going to the Arrange section.

Now start adding all kinds of shapes that remind you of Christmas, winter, holidays,… Place them within the boundaries of the circle.

Change their size and style. Go to the paintbrush for this.

Once everything is in place there is only one more thing to do and that is to delete that circle.

Tap on the circle and select Delete.

Going Further.
