How To Make A Visual Dictionary

This week we went on a hunt through the school. A real safari, observing the letters of the alfabet and their hiding places. Here is our journey:

First we sang our alfabet song remembering all the letters and then we took off into the wilderness. The children had to shoot objects that started with the letter. So for example the letter A got a lot of apple pictures.

Step 1

When we came back into the classroom at the end of the tour, the children created the visual dictionary with a separate  page for each letter. Then they connected the right photo to it. We used Book Creator to make these books because afterwards we added audio to the page.

Step 2

When you tap on the page you will hear the student say the word.
